How to Join Blessings International School?

  • Download Application Form: Applicants can download the application form from the school's website or obtain it from the school Office.
  • Admission Criteria: Admissions are open for classes L.K.G to Standard VIII. Children must have completed 3 years of age for admission to L.K.G. Admission for classes L.K.G to Std VII involves an entrance exam in English, Mathematics, and First Language (Tamil). Oral tests are conducted for L.K.G to Std III.
  • Registration: Upon submission of the application along with a registration fee of Rs. 2000/-, applicants' names are entered into the waiting list. Admission is granted based on availability and suitability.
  • Fees Structure: Detailed fee structure for boarders and day-scholars can be obtained from the school Office. Fees must be paid by cash or Demand Draft (D.D.) in favor of Blessings International School, Keerapakkam, Thirukalukundram, Pincode - 603 109. Cheques are not accepted.
  • School Timings: School operates from Monday to Saturday, with Office hours from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Second Saturdays, government holidays, and local holidays are observed as non-working days.
  • School Hours
    • Assembly: 08:50 A.M.
    • Morning Session: 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
    • Lunch Break: 12:00 P.M. to 12:25 P.M.
    • Afternoon Session: 12:25 P.M. to 3:05 P.M.
    • Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) Class: 3:05 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
  • Attendance and Leave: Regular attendance is mandatory. Absences must be communicated to the Principal/Head Mistress. Minimum 75%attendance is required for promotion.
  • Examinations and Promotion: Weekly, monthly, mid-term, and terminal exams are conducted. Annual exam performance determines promotion. Pupils with fee arrears are not permitted to sit for exams.
  • Parent-Teacher Interaction: Parents are encouraged to engage with teachers for the progress of their child. Cooperation in fee payments and monitoring student progress through the school diary is expected.
  • Boarding Facilities: Quality food and shelter are provided. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian balanced diets are offered. Separate dormitories with basic amenities are provided under the supervision of matrons and teachers.
  • Visiting Hours: Parents may visit on specified weekends between 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Visits should be limited to maintain the students' routine.
  • Vacations: Students may go home only during specified vacation periods. Return on the notified date is mandatory.
  • Withdrawals: Withdrawals during the academic year are discouraged. Fees for the entire year must be paid upon withdrawal request.

Documents Required for Admission

  • Birth Certificate: Photocopy of the birth certificate of the student.
  • Community Certificate: Photocopy of the community certificate (if applicable).
  • Physical Fitness Certificate: Certificate from a registered medical practitioner certifying the physical fitness of the student.
  • Transfer Certificate: Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school attended.
  • Passport Size Photos:
    • 3 copies of passport size photos of the student.
    • 1 copy each of passport size photo for both parents.
  • Stamp Size Photos: 1 copy each of stamp size photo for both student and parents.
  • Aadhar Card: Photocopy of the Aadhar card of the student.
